Gemütlichkeit! Meaning warm hospitality and friendliness. This is Trinity Lutheran Church’s and School’s fourth year presenting Germanfest. This annual Traverse City festival will be Friday, September 30 from 6 to 11 p.m. Enjoy your evening of authentic German food, entertainment and dancing.

Dance the night away to the traditional music from Tommy Schober and the Sound of Sorgenbrecher. We offer the beer of 1516 (“German Beer Purity Law”) from the famous Hofbräuhaus in Munich and our wine choices come from the Rhine Valley.

Tickets cost $40 per person, which includes all food and entertainment. Drink tokens are sold separately for $8. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Deb or Dave at 231.631.0610 or calling Trinity’s Church office at 231.946.2720. Tickets are also available online at MyNorthTickets.com. Guests must be 21 or over. ID is required.

You will be treated to traditional foods which will include bratwurst, sauerkraut, knackwurst, German potato salad, cucumber salad, spaetzle and sauerbraten. And don’t forget to leave room for the desserts!

All proceeds from the event go to Trinity Lutheran School.
