It’s cottage kitsch, but the kind of kitsch we can get behind. These Michigan Adirondack chairs are popping up on lawns and patios at Northern homes and cottages across the state.

The Michirondack chair ($295) rebrands the classic cedar Adirondack lounger with a wooden profile of the Lower Peninsula in place of the usual slatted back.

For sure, the name takes a few iterations before rolling off the tongue, but we bet you’ll spend more time silently enjoying it anyway.

Our only lament: Like a lot of Michigan-themed merchandise, the Michirondack seems to forget that our fair state is a two-peninsular package deal. U.P. foot stool anyone?
