Top off your summer with a cold brew and good tunes at Traverse City’s Summer Microbrew & Music Festival, taking place the weekend of August 26. Since the summer of 2009, the Traverse City microbrew festival has celebrated and highlighted the best of Northern Michigan food, drink, and musicians along with thousands of brew and music devotees.
See how much fun we had at the winter edition of the Microbrew & Music Festival with this MyNorth Media video!
Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and The Revivalists (one of Rolling Stone’s March 2016 10 New Artists You Need to Know) will headline the weekend and will be supported by Traverse City’s own The Accidentals and The Heard. Festival favorites such as That 1 Guy, Heatbox, Deep Blue Water Samba, and more to be announced will also grace the stage over the weekend. The Silent Disco tent will house 10 DJs ready to party, including Traverse City’s own DJ Dominate.
To pair with your favorite performers, a selection of breweries, wineries, cideries and more will have their brews on tap weekend long. We’re told there will be a lot of rare beers on tap—here’s the frothy fun from some of the brewers.
Not only is the Microbrew & Music Festival a ton of fun, but it also supports hundreds of community-based artists, small businesses, vendors, local food providers, and others throughout Michigan. Make this festival one of your weekend plans and experience the best of Traverse City brews, music, and people.
