July 1: Catch a performance of The Crane Wines at the Michigan Legacy Art Park in Thompsonville. This performance is part of the Summer Sounds Concert Series.
July 2: Two different festivals, two different locations! The Freedom Festival runs July 1-4 in downtown Cadillac;Â stop by the Ludington area and experience The Freedom Festival there as well. Enjoy parades, fireworks and more!
July 3: Billy Idol rocks the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage at 6 p.m. This is the first of many concerts during this year’s National Cherry Festival.
July 4: Celebrate the holiday with Blues, Brews, and BBQ at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. Come enjoy great food and entertainment with an incredible view of the Blue Angels.
July 5: Leelanau Peninsula Wine Excursions offers tours on three different loops: Sleeping Bear, Northern and Grand Traverse Bay. A scenic adventure with award-winning wine! There is an age limit for 21 and up.
July 6: The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival begins July 6 and goes through July 31. This prestigious multi-week competition features thousands of the nation’s best horses competing in show jumping, dressage, equitation and hunters.
July 7: 5th Annual Carter’s Kids Festival Fun Run, at F & M Park in Traverse City.
