June 24-26: Annual Battle at the Betsie / Salmon Fishing Tournament. All Captain’s Meetings and Weigh Ins take place at Big Bob’s Up North Outfitters. Frankfort, 231.352.5360.

June 26-26: Annual Solstice Festival. This free music festival is family friendly, quirky, cutting edge and eco-friendly, with some of the best bands, craft beverages and artisanal food around, capped off with a fantastic fireworks display. Elberta, 231.352.7201.

June 28: Historical Nicholas Hotel Dinner. Relive history at The Leland Lodge. The grand opening of the “New Nicholas Hotel” was held 89 years ago to the day. June 24: Bay Harbor Beer & Wine Festival. Enjoy local craft beer, wine and hors d’eouvres from area restaurants. All proceeds benefit the Little Traverse Bay Community. $30, 231.439.2500.

June 25: Waterfront Wine Festival. An afternoon of wine tasting, live local music and more. $20 advance, $30 day of, includes two tastings, a commemorative wine glass and endless samples by participating restaurants. Downtown Harbor Springs. 231.526.7999.

June 25: Traverse City Wine & Art Festival8th Annual celebration of the wine, food and culture of Michigan’s wine coast.
