May 6-8: 57th Annual Mesick Mushroom Festival. Mushroom contest, flea market, concerts, baseball and volleyball tournaments, hobby and craft show, Mud Bogg, Grand Parade, beverage tent, high school talent show, music & dancing and lots of great food. Fun for all ages! 231.884.4451.

May 6-8: Calendar Girls. Funny, sentimental and captivating, Calendar Girls is based on the true story of a British women’s group who posed nude in calendar pictures to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund. May 7: Mud, Sweat & Beers Fat Tire Fest. Mt. Holiday in Traverse City hosts the annual Mud, Sweat and Beers Fat Tire Fest and Mountain Bike Race. MSB is dedicated to providing the best spring mountain bike race in the Midwest by bringing together rockin’ terrain, races for all rider levels plus a great post party. May 7: Red Green – I’m Not Old, I’m Ripe. The man who is known worldwide for his humor, insight and wisdom about life and the people one encounters in it, is back with a brand new show at the Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts in Roscommon. $49.50. 989.275.6777.
