4th generation innkeeper of Fountain Point Resort, Erik Zehender, is excited for their summer 2016 season. While the resort that’s on the National Register of Historic Places has invited the public to their over 50-acre property in the past, this year they are expanding their efforts of catering to the community.

From the MMMM Truck serving food to visitors via food truck (guests’ breakfasts are included with a stay) to outdoor music concerts with well-known local bands, morning yoga on the beach to rowing lessons for all, the variety offered here is incredible. And at last year’s Music Festival, another new idea came about: A water taxi concierge service to the towns of Lake Leelanau and Leland. The service debuts this summer.

Watch this MyNorth Media video to learn more about their water taxi service offered on Lake Leelanau for guests and the public, featuring Boathouse Vineyards, Northern Latitudes Distillery, Bella Fortuna, Dick’s Pour House, and The Redheads.

After watching, you’ll want to go on a Leelanau wine tour by water!

Fountain Point Resort is located at 990 S. Lake Leelanau in Leelanau County
