Meet the Foodie: Jonathan Evans

Born and raised in Benzonia, the young, animated Jonathan Evans got his start as a foodie entrepreneur at age 12, peddling drumsticks and Bomb Pops off the back of a custom ice cream bicycle on the beaches of Crystal Lake. Now an undergraduate student at Midland’s Northwood University pursuing a degree in hospitality management, Jonathan spends summers as head server at The Glenwood in Onekama.

A devotee of baked goods and Southern barbecue, Jonathan’s most recent culinary inspiration comes from a road trip to New Orleans.
