TRAVERSE CITY: The Little Fleet announces the third annual Holiday Market to take place on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13. The annual party will be held in the outdoor courtyard, which will be tented and heated to provide room for 20 vendors and multiple bars each day. The market will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with live music all day. Admission is free for all ages.
Gary Jonas, the owner of The Little Fleet, is excited about the market, “This year’s Holiday Market will be our largest to date. We’ve curated a great lineup of vendors for this year selling everything from handmade jewelry, soap, and specialty coffee, to high-end vintage goods. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up that unique holiday gift. The demand was so high this year, we’ll have different vendors setting up each day for a total of 40 vendors throughout the weekend.”
During the Holiday Market, The Little Fleet will be serving up three different styles of glogg, a traditional Scandinavian warm winter drink mixed with wine and port with spices like cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon.
Serving up food at this year’s Holiday Market will be Andrea Diebler of *snap* sausage. Andrea will be creating a special menu to keep shoppers going. *snap* will also be set up all December long inside the LTO (Limited Time Only) food truck at The Little Fleet.
This weekend will also be host to the biggest music weekend ever planned at The Little Fleet. Music Under the Tent will take place Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and music will start at 7 p.m. The tent will be decorated and staged to look like a wintery forest with warm twinkly lights and fresh-cut pine trees. Several bars will be set up throughout the space serving mulled wine, special holiday cocktails, and seasonal draft beers. Admission is free both evenings.
