11th Annual Traverse City Turkey Trot for Charities, Traverse City

Thursday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Two different race distances—5K and a 5-mile—give back to charities at this Traverse City event. Plus, participants take home lots of swag. Learn how to get your whole family involved here.

13th Annual 5K Walk/Run Turkey Vulture Trot, Thompsonville

Thursday, November 23 at 9 a.m.

Crystal Mountain’s scenic paved terrain sets the course for their 13th annual Turkey Vulture Trot. The paved, looped-course invites runners of all ages. Top finishers in the 5K take home a Crystal Premier Season Pass! There’s even a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. Proceeds benefit Wings of Wonder.

Turkey Leg 5K Run/Walk, Harbor Springs

Thursday, November 23 at 8:30 a.m.

No T-shirts. No metals. No official timer. This 5K is stress-free, supporting the Harbor Springs Food Pantry. 100% of entry fees go towards food purchases for local families. $10 suggested donation per participant. Strollers welcome; please, no dogs. Pre-register online at outfitterharborsprings.com.

Turkey Trot 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, Boyne City

Thursday, November 23 at 9 a.m.

The Kiwanis Club of Boyne City hosts this Thanksgiving Turkey Trot at Veterans Park. Runners are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to donate to area food pantries. A race registration form is available at boynechamber.com.

YMCA of Northern Michigan Turkey Trot, Petoskey

Thursday, November 23 at 9 a.m.

Join the YMCA of Northern Michigan for Petoskey’s annual Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving morning in downtown Petoskey. The YMCA of Northern Michigan, along with sponsors 4Front Credit Union, Fletch’s & Blue Cross Blue Shield, host the racet to raise money for the YMCA as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters.

2017 Annual Turkey Trot, Charlevoix

Thursday, November 23 at 8:30 a.m.
