Just in time for Halloween, scary storybook classics are coming to Petoskey this October in free-form comedy performances with audience participation and madcap fun. These Northern Michigan events based on the Brothers Grimm stories will take place at the Crooked Tree Arts Center starting Thursday, October 15.

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in a fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil’s Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands.

Petoskey event tickets are available for the following Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon performances:

Thursday, October 15 at 8 p.m.
Friday, October 16 at 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 17 at 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 18 at 2 p.m.
