TRAVERSE CITY: The Cherry Capital Cycling Club has finalized plans for a very event-packed and exciting week of cycling related events. We have reviewed all the films for the two screenings for Saturday April 25th and found them to be both amazing and inspiring! Between the 7:00 and 9:00 pm screenings, there will be a total of twenty (20) film shorts representing rides in fifteen different countries around the globe. Many of the films were shown in Mexico City two weeks ago in front of more than 10,000 cycling enthusiasts with rave reviews. This will be a great way to officially launch the spring and summer riding seasons.

A complete schedule of events for the week are as follows:

Wednesday April 22nd- Mountain Bike Ride led by the Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association-Filling Station—6:00 pm*

Friday April 24th- Students Safety Bike Films and Bike Expo-Lars Hockstad: 5-7pm for the Bike Expo and  followed by the Safety Bike Films at 7:00 pm*

Saturday April 25th- International Bike Film Festival; separate screenings at 7:00 and 9:00 pm. Bike Expo from 5-7:00pm… Lars Hockstad Auditorium/Central School*

Afterglow parties will be held at the Filling Station Microbrewery. They are offering significant discounts on all drafts and pizzas.
