Get out and shop in Downtown Traverse City on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Downtown Traverse City will be saluting the community and sharing a portion of proceeds towards the community’s favorite charities.
The streets of Traverse City will be lined with shopping bags and balloons because this year there are 62 merchants that are participating in this community day. It’s the perfect opportunity to get all of your holiday shopping done early and as a bonus, 15% of your purchased amount will be donated to the charity of your choice! This year’s goal is to raise $25,000 for participating nonprofit organizations. The Michigan Blood Bus will also be Downtown for donors who are willing to give blood.
