An Oktoberfest style celebration will take place at the Filling Station in Traverse City on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18. Join your neighbors at this great event and bring the kids too! There will be live music, lots of great food (including authentic brats and sauerkraut), kids activities and of course beer!

Todd Klepper, General Manager of the The Filling Station Microbrewery, is excited for the new festival. “We started with the Ales by the Rails Summer Music Festival last year and it was a great success. We wanted to follow that up with a seasonal event everyone can enjoy,” he said.

“As a family owned and operated business, we are thrilled to be hosting a festival that will offer a variety of music, activities, and locally hand-crafted food and beverages that appeal to participants of all ages.”

There will be live music performed on both Friday and Saturday by The Way Down Wanderers, Box On, Rootstand and Mountain Standard Time (MST).

Proceeds from the event will help continue the The Filling Station’s support of the Grand Traverse Area Children’s Garden, TART, and Habitat for Humanity. For more information on the festival and to purchase tickets go to MyNorthTickets.com.
