On Great Lakes Glass Pumpkin Patch Day, the first Saturday of each October, Three Pines Studio in bucolic Cross Village is aglow with hundreds of handblown pumpkins made by renowned glass artisans Harry Boyer and Lynn Dinning of Boyer Glassworks in Harbor Springs. Watch as Boyer creates one of the 600 pumpkins he makes each year in his Harbor Springs shop. Then follow videographer Kris Riley to the charming Three Pines Studio where the colorful pumpkins “grow” in every nook and surface of this delightful gallery.

The 10th Annual Great Lakes Pumpkin Patch Day is Saturday, October 5. The Pumpkin Patch will be set up at Boyer Glassworks, Good Hart Glassworks and Three Pines Studio. The drive between the shops is beautiful—take M-119 and see the iconic Tunnel of Trees.
