Enjoy a perfect Northern Michigan evening riding the tall ship Manitou on West Grand Traverse Bay. The former Traverse City State Hospital has seen a lot of change over the last couple of years and this tour lets you experience both the renovated and the unrenovated parts. Stone Circle has been a Northern Michigan summer tradition for years. Located a little north of Traverse City by Elk Rapids, the stone circle complete with 88 large boulders and a campfire, creates an atmosphere reminiscent of days past. It’s a gathering place for poets, storytellers and musicians to share their work, tales and music. The last gathering of the season is on Sunday, August 31st beginning at 9 pm. Young and old are invited to listen or to share work with the audience!
