Video: Grand Traverse Lighthouse on the Leelanau Peninsula

On the northern edge of the Leelanau Peninsula—even north of the aptly named town of Northport—sits the Grand Traverse Lighthouse within the Leelanau State Park.  This iconic Northern Michigan attraction began guiding Great Lakes sailors to safety in the 1850’s.  Watch MyNorth videographer John Newland’s filming of the the lighthouse, which now serves as a museum open to the public, on a cloudless spring day.
