Looking for an educational, outdoor activity to do in Northern Michigan this weekend? The Art in the Garden Festival happening in Gaylord at the Otsego County Demonstration Garden and Conservation Forest off of Livingston Blvd. will be taking place on Saturday, June 28th from 10 am to 7 pm, and will feature demonstrations and workshops to improve your Northern Michigan home or cottage. The Northern Michigan festival is followed by the Crossroads’ Industries Summer Concert series from 7 to 10 pm. The concert series, also happening in Gaylord, costs $5 per show.

The Art in the Garden Festival in Gaylord will feature plenty of fun activities for the whole family. This free community event will celebrate local art and conservation with workshops, local food and live music. Musical acts will include Traverse City’s E Minor and Blake Elliot & The Robinson Affair, and Kalamazoo’s Graham Parsons & the Go Rounds. There will also be a silent auction and art for sale.
