The festival’s music line-up will be headlined by soulster Mayer Hawthorne.  Having toured with the likes of Bruno Mars, Foster the People, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae and the late Amy Winehouse, Hawthorne’s combination of sharp, soulful songwriting and infectious live performances have made him a can’t-miss artist.  Hawthorne—a Michigan native—will be joined at the Traverse City Wine and Art Festival by the following musicians:

  • Phil Denny — A saxophonist with a style simultaneously smooth, sexy and energetic
  • The Crane Wives — The Grand Rapids-based folkies are back by popular demand
  • The Mainstays — Former members of Funktion regroup to bring soul-funk to TC
  • The Accidentals — Traverse City’s folk virtuosos bring their bag of instruments and books of songs
  • Jordan Taylor — Acoustic musician from Phoenix is finger-pickin’ good
  • Samantha Crawford — Thoughtful and meticulous songs from a soul-folk songstress

Wineries located in Leelanau County, Old Mission Peninsula, Traverse City and other areas of Northern Michigan will have wine available for tasting.  A sample of those wineries include:
