Driftwood at Manistee’s Historic Ramsdell Theatre

  • On Friday, April 4th, Driftwood brings one of the most unique, raw sounds to the Americana/roots scene. Incorporating upright bass, banjo, acoustic guitar and violin, the ghost of traditional American folk music lives in their palette. Doors at 7:30. Advanced tickets at $15, at the door at $20.

Events at Traverse City’s Milliken Auditorium

On The Porch Series at Sleder’s: Driftwood

  • On Sunday, April 6th, Driftwood will play a Traverse City encore at Sleder’s. Presented by Sleder’s Family Tavern, Oryana Food Cooperative, Brilliant Books and Zamar Guitar.  Tickets $15 in advance (available at Sleder’s, Oryana, Brilliant Books and Zamar), and $20 at the door.

Presentations at West Shore Community College in Scottville

  • West Shore Community College will present a variety of events in April.  On Friday, April 25th: Cyrille Aimee, direct from Paris with her modern age jazz.  Sunday, April 27th: WSCC Concert Choir & Collegiates.  Tuesday, April 29th: WSCC Jazz Band & Percussion Ensemble.  Wednesday, April 30th: WSCC Wind Symphony & Chamber Wind Ensemble.

Events at Traverse City’s City Opera House

  • On Friday, April 11th, The Broadway Dolls, a “Best of Manhattan” award-winning concert featuring a roster of the most dynamic women of Broadway.  Friday, April 25th: Cyrille Aimee, winner of the Montreux Jazz Festival’s International Vocal Competition, the Sarah Vaughn International Jazz Vocal Competition and finalist in the Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition. Both concerts at 8pm.
