Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival 2014 combines the top local beer, food and music of Northern Michigan on Saturday, February 8th.
Experience an evening of savory, thirst-quenching craft brews, appetizing local foods and the music of accomplished performers—local and national. Since the summer of 2009 the Traverse City Microbrew & Music Festival has celebrated and highlighted the craft brew culture and musicians of Northern Michigan along with thousands of brew and live music devotees.
Each Microbrew & Music Festival features over 75 musicians, over 45 breweries and over 200 craft brew flavors, between 7 and 10 local food vendors, and a gathering of some of the most appreciative and loyal attendees. The Microbrew & Music Festivals also feature the popular Hop-N-Brew Shack. Here, brewers are able to offer special samples of their craft beer. The brewer, along with a small group of festival-goers, meet one-on-one for about 30 minutes to taste the flavors and discuss the process in which the brews were crafted.
Each Festival also features a local nonprofit to support. All proceeds from alcohol sales benefit these nonprofits. This year’s nonprofits are Xero Waste Events and CherryT Ball, and one more that is still to be chosen.
The Microbrew & Music Festival supports hundreds of community-based artists, small businesses, endors, farmers, local food providers, arts and entertainment companies, hotels and motels, and others throughout Michigan. This commitment only strengthens a purpose to enrich each local economy.
Come support Northern Michigan at every Microbrew & Music Festival – which serve to unify communities brought together by delicious flavors of craft brews, delectable food, soulful music, and loads of fun. These events are proof that as we support one another and we support the greater good, all while having a fantastic time.
