Michigan Video: Hagerty, Ford Motor Co., & Sleeping Bear Dune Car No.9

When Justin Warnes, the young staff videographer at Hagerty Classic Boat and Car Insurance was charged with making a video for the company about Sleeping Bear Dunesmobile No. 9, he knew the job would also be a labor of love. Warnes, who grew up in Glen Arbor near the Sleeping Bear Dunes, is a great nephew of Louis Warnes (who owned the Sleeping Bear Dunes rides) on his maternal grandfather’s side. On his maternal grandmother’s side, Justin and Hagerty CEO McKeel Hagerty, Hagerty's CEO of  are second cousins—a fact Justin didn’t know until he was interviewing for the job. Justin worked on the video “Finding Number 9” on and off for the course of a year. “I feel honored and proud to tell this piece of the story,” he says.
