Traverse City Wine & Art Festival Tasting Notes and Pairings

Blustone 2011 Riesling

Leelanau Peninsula. Pale and bright in glass. It has a pretty and forward peachy, apricot nose. The palate is expressive and bold with spicy citrus acidity and apricot jam that finishes with crisp, fruity length. A real people pleaser, this wine works as a fruity aperitif and would be refreshing served with fried crunchy pastry—like lightly spiced samosas with mango chutney or raita.
