Stiefvater's books have premiered to overwhelming critical and commercial success, and garnered special attention from the movie industry hoping to replicate the box office triumphs of The Hunger Games and the Twilight franchise. The heroine’s big challenge is to finish the race alive. Booklist hailed this utterly original novel as a “YA (young adult) blockbuster.”

All three books debuted as New York Times best-sellers and were named as Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association.

At this special event, Stiefvater will sit down with renowned book reviewer Lynn Rutan to discuss her work and unusual path to success, which included stints as a musician, calligraphy instructor, waitress and technical editor before breaking through as a novelist.
