Northern Michigan Events: Leelanau Conservancy Kids' Scavenger Hunt

Northern Michigan Events: Is it green?  Does it move on eight legs or four? Kids will have a great time finding those answers at the Leelanau Conservancy Scavenger Hunt on the Leland Village Green on September 15, 2012.

This Northern Michigan event is a part of Leland's Heritage Celebration. Leelanau Conservancy docents will be on hand for the scavenger hunt—helping to connect kids to the Northern Michigan natural world. Join in the hunt anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Families are encouraged to join their children ages 3 through 12 for this hunt. Participants will be provided a booklet of items to hunt for, lots of clues and some fun riddles. Free and fun for the family—please let the Leelanau Conservancy know if you are thinking of coming so that they can plan accordingly: leeanauconservancy.org

Note: Four volunteers are needed to work the booth selling clothing and passing out info; if you can work 10-noon or noon to 2 pm please send an email to Carolyn Faught at [email protected]
