Traverse City Film Festival 2012: MyNorth.com’s video team, Larry Brand and Rebecca Reynolds, caught up with Cuban filmmaker Ian Padron when he returned to the Traverse City Film Festival for the third year as a member of the World Jury. Padron talks about the inspiration for his award-winning film Habanastation, (TCFF 2011 FOUNDERS’ PRIZE), the similarities between Cuba and the U.S., and why he created the First Annual TCFF Softball Team, pitting filmmakers against volunteers.  (In English and Spanish, with translation by TC’s Bryn Lynch.)
