Northern Michigan Events: Aten Place Releases it's Summer 2012 Line-Up

Northern Michigan Events: What began in 1996 as a potluck dinner has  grown into one of the most looked-forward to concert series in Northern Michigan. The Aten Place, a nonprofit venue owned by Bill and Maxine Aten in Boyne Falls, an hour's drive from Traverse City, is a truly unique concert experience. Once a simple barn, Aten Place has been converted into a performance space that comfortably seats 175. The down-home flavor of the old days still remains though, as guests gather around the picnic and bonfire pit before and after events. Concerts run all summer long, all shows beginning at 7:30. Tickets go on sale at 6:30 the day of the performance, or you can purchase both advance tickets and season passes online. Celebrate the 18th year of "Concerts in the Barn" at this characteristically Up North location.
