Traverse City Film Festival: Video Interview with Women of Dagenham

The real women of Dagenham attend the Traverse City Film Festival and talk with MyNorth video interviewer Rebecca Reynolds.

They earned a permanent place in organized labor history when they stood up for women’s rights and equal pay at a Ford Motor plant in Dagenham, England. The documentary Made in Dagenham tells their tale and showed at the 2011 Traverse City Film Festival. As a special treat, the real women of Dagenham, the women who led the labor revolt, flew to Traverse City for the festival and took some time to talk with on video with MyNorth correspondent Rebecca Reynolds, herself a filmmaker.
