Foodies: the very first Traverse City Restaurant Week is planned for February 27 to March 5, 2011. The Grand Traverse region is widely known for inventive restaurants and talented chefs, remarkable agriculture offerings and a thriving farm to table movement. Most recently Traverse City has received accolades from the likes of Midwest Living, Bon Appetit and AOL about how the region is a center for culinary delight. To celebrate, some of the finest restaurants in the Traverse City area will offer three-course meals especially prepared for this gourmet event for $25 per person during Traverse City Restaurant Week.
