Michigan skiing and snowboarding is all out at Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain with all 850 acres and 114 trails, plus nine terrain parks at full strength. Top that off with the following Boyne ski and snowboard events.
February 5-6: Coming to Boyne Mountain, the Nature Valley NASTAR Family Challenge brings families together to race as a team of two or three and festivities go beyond the course including games and giveaways. Race clinics are offered each morning and afternoon and the pacesetter is former U.S. Ski Team and World Cup racer, Kaylin Richardson.
February 19-21: Boyne Highlands is proud to again host the Burton Super Demo Tour. This is your chance to test the latest boards, boots and bindings from industry leader, Burton. And that’s not all! Join in the fun for giveaways, wacky games for prizes and a chance to talk riding with knowledgable Burton representatives.
February 20-21: Boyne Mountain hosts the 2011 Burton Am Series which is THE regional amateur snowboarding competition. Taking place at just six resorts across the U.S. this season, these spectator friendly events are open to all amateur competitors and feature men’s and women’s Slopestyle and Halfpipe competitions. Winners in each discipline receive a wildcard entry into the U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships.
